CFUnit support in CFEclipse?

During Pete Freitag's interview of Mark Drew (http://www.petefreitag.com/item/544.cfm) he asked about any new features in CFEclipse that may be coming. Mark responded that CFUnit test creation was on the road map. If this gets implemented CFEclipse would provided a way of creating CFUnit shells for you to fill in. He also said this was a "maybe", but I (obviously) really hope this makes it into the next release. I already blogged this too, but if you are a CFUnit supporter, then you might want to jump into the CFEclipse mailing list and voice your support for this feature. Actually I asked Mark to consider creating a wizard to generate TestCase shell CFCs and gave him a spec that would would with cfUnit and a slightly different spec for cfcUnit. I can guarantee that bombarding the cfeclipse mailing list will *not* increase the likelihood of this feature being added! That's great, thanks Sean! Let Mark know if there is anything he needs for this, that I am happy to assist. Good call, my intent was not to cause anyone in the mailing list grief, but just to hopefully let the CFEclipse folks know there are people who would like to see this - just in case the feature was on the bubble. We know some people would like to see it but some of the CFEclipse crew are rather sensitive about folks "demanding" features and the response at times borders on "Screw you ungrateful lot!" so I really wouldn't recommend trying to tip the scales right now... :) The standard response is: if you want feature X then contribute to the project and write the feature... -- Sean A Corfield -- http://corfield.org/ Got frameworks?
