[JOB] Flash Designer (2) in NYC | 80-120k

Our client, a Global Media Company is looking for a 2 Flash Designers. A junior to mid-level candidate to $80,000 and a senior-level candidate to $120,000.   These are full time, on-site, salaried positions with benefits located in New York City. Local candidates are only being considered at this time.   ** Candidates with ADVERTISING AGENCY exp. are only being considered at this time **   ** Strong ActionScript (or Flex) and Illustrator is key ** DUTIES: * Develop creative concepts that push the limits of design * Present creative concepts both internally and externally * Follow and fight for the creative process * Create feature sets, navigation schemes, and style guides * Create storyboards and animation * Direct photographers, illustrators, and multimedia developers * Work closely with copywriters, account managers, and other studio staff * Mentor and review the work of other interactive designers   * Perform other duties as assigned SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:   * BA or BFA degree in Design preferred * 5-8 years digital design experience * Must have excellent typographic and conceptual design skills; an online portfolio is required * Thorough knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Image Ready/Fireworks required * Solid user interface design skills * Solid understanding of ActionScript * Basic Working Knowledge of AJAX and/or Flex is a huge plus * Leadership & Project management experience a plus * Solid presentation skills   * Understanding of information architecture ATTRIBUTES: * Able to work in fast paced environment where flexibility is key and directions can change frequently * Must posses a high level of creativity, taste and sense of style   * Attention to details and outstanding organizational skills * Self starter, highly motivated to excel w/minimal supervision TO APPLY: The absolute best way to apply for either one of these jobs would be to not only submit your resume and/or portfolio/samples, but to elaborate on how your experience relates to the job description and submit your salary requirements to beau[AT]open-source-staffing.com Thank you and happy holidays,   Beau J.
