Summary:
The Senior ColdFusion / Flex Engineer will be responsible for various web
development projects for Columbia Card Services International.
Description:
We are looking for just the right person to lead our web development efforts.
You will be working on the engineering side of a dual development environment,
collaborating with our CTO and our project manager to give you direction. You
will organize and lead large scale development projects, both in the trenches
doing the work and coordinating with our internal and external teams.
In this new role, the Senior ColdFusion Engineer will be responsible for the
architecture and development of the Kiosk and Sales platform. You must work well
with project managers, front end developers, back-end IT teams.
You will need to learn a complex kiosk solution quickly, have extensive
experience architecting complex, transactional, software solutions and be
disciplined in development methodology, including open communications during
design, development and launch phases. If you have experience with PCI
Compliance it will be a bonus.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
7+ years experience in Web Development
Requirements:
ColdFusion, JAVA, and Flex expertise
Microsoft SQL Server expertise
Experience developing e-commerce solutions.
Experience architecting, designing, implementing highly scalable, transactional,
web applications.
Experience working with Project Managers to define project requirements, user
interfaces and make architectural tradeoff given requirements.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self disciplined in a development environment that requires system testing,
documentation, adherence to coding standards and naming conventions.
Attention to detail, highly self-motivated.
Ability to thrive in and manage a dual-development environment
Good Attitude, and easy to work with.
