Location: Greene, NY
Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with manager on unusual
matters. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring appreciable
originality and ingenuity. Has some latitude for unreviewed action or decision..
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of
identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and
policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Responsible for the content and consistent look of the Company’s iWarehouse
Gateway web site.
* Maps the flow of the site, creates general graphics, provides
specifications to other information technology personnel as well as outside
vendors for development of databases, interactive applets, and custom graphics
and work in information and training services.
* Works on complex projects where in-depth evaluation/analysis is required.
* Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems.
* Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in
selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results..
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have a BS/BA (preferably an MS) in computer science, computer
information systems or a related field, complemented by experience in web
programming. Excellent communications skills. Strong computer skills and
expertise is required in as many of the following as possible:
* Adobe Flex 3.0
* Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
* database design
* User requirements analysis
* Experience with Microsoft Analysis Services
* Functional specification
* Web Server administration
* XML
* Cold Fusion MX 8
* AJAX a Plus
