Flex/ActionScript 3 Developer (NYC/Middletown, NJ)

A large Fortune 500 Company is looking for Flex/ActionScript 3 developer to join
a creative team to work on exciting and challenging projects.
Your job responsibilities will include:
• Working as a part of a tight web development team
• Communicating progress and recommendations to the management
• Implementing new features into the application based on provided requirements
• Developing RIA applications using Flex 3 framework
• Working with backend ColdFusion developers and integrating services into Flex
front-end
• Working with live and on-demand video content and utilizing Flash Media Server
• Writing and reviewing requirements documents
What you need to qualify:
• Expert level proficiency in Flex/ActionScript 3
• Extensive experience developing rich internet applications
• Hands-on experience with Transact-SQL, RDBMSes (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) and good
ability of query normalization
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and data structures
• Prior experience and proficiency with Flex/Flash remoting, BlazeDS/LiveCycle is
a big plus
• Experience with online video management/delivery applications is a plus
• Experience with ColdFusion/CFML platform is a plus
• Strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience working with version control systems such as Subversion
• Provide prior work examples, demos during the interview
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any
employer.
