[JOB #1] Sr. Developer/Tech Lead, NYC to 175k
This role is a Senior Developer & Technical Lead overseeing a team of developers
aligned with various lines-of-business (LOB). The role is with a Client-Facing
Technology team. Primary responsibilities include guiding project progress, and
marshaling various project participants toward successful final deliveries.
Also, engaging in development tasks, on an as-needed basis, using Java/J2EE,
Flex, JavaScript and related RIA technologies.
* The successful candidate must be experienced and capable at project management,
team leadership, and web application development, with excellent communication
skills -- both written and oral.
* The candidate must have a firm grasp of the financial services industry, with
particular focus on FX, Commodities, and electronic trading.
* The candidate must be familiar with enterprise software development practices
and comfortable with outsourced operating models, professional services firms and
technology vendors.
* The candidate must bring a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office,
from an end-user perspective, with primary focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook. Microsoft Project a plus.
* An undergraduate degree in science or engineering from an accredited, four-year
university is required. A graduate degree is desirable, but not required.
* Desired Skills: Java/J2EE, Flex, JavaScript and related RIA technologies.

[JOB #2] Software Developer, NYC to 125k
This role is a Software Developer in the Adobe Flex framework with a
Client-Facing Technology team. Primary responsibilities include web design and
development for an integrated e-trading platform.
Qualifications:
* The successful candidate must be experienced and capable at web application
development in the context of electronic trading using Adobe Flex.
* The candidate must have a firm grasp of the financial services industry.
* The candidate must be familiar with enterprise software development practices.
* The candidate must bring a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office,
from an end-user perspective, with primary focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook.
* An undergraduate degree in science or engineering from an accredited, four-year
university is required. A graduate degree is desirable, but not required
