Job Description: Selected candidate will explore and develop prototypes and
customer facing applications for advanced consumer services. Works with a team of
engineers, human factor specialists, and software developers engaged in projects
associated with development and operation of hardware and software systems used
to deliver advanced consumer services. This position will work with a team in a
rapid prototyping and production development environment and develop deliverables
that are both self-directed and at the request of product development. In
addition, this position will explore emerging technical capabilities in the
advanced consumer services area and validate the technology and demonstrate
feasibility of use.

Required Qualifications:
•5 years experience with ActionScript, Java Applets, Javascript, AJAX, and CSS
•3 years experience developing on iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, or Blackberry
QNX devices
•Good understanding of Object Oriented Design and design patterns
•Good understanding of network/web protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, XML,
etc
•Effective communication and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
-A degree in computer science or related technical field
•2 years development experience in Java and J2EE
• 2 years development experience with EJBs, servlets, JSPs, Custom Tags, JSTL,
etc
•Working knowledge of Linux (Fedora Core/RedHat)
•Knowledge and experience in Database concepts and development technologies (SQL,
JDBC, stored procedures, etc.)
•Experience in image/video streaming/processing
•Experience developing with J2ME
•Experience with Apache, JBoss, or Oracle
•C++, C, Activex, ASP, and .Net experience
•Experience with OSGI
•Experience with UVerse application development (Mediaroom Presentation
Framework)

Project Description: This role is supporting the newly announced Digital Life
Services organization. This group will be launching AT&Ts connected digital home
services including Home Security, Home Monitoring, Home Automation & Control,
Home Healthcare, Personal Energy Management and other applications.
