Senior Software Engineer Wanted - Natick, MA

Boston-area Web and mobile application development company is seeking a talented,
self-motivated senior software engineer with a minimum of 8+ years experience
developing ecommerce websites, web applications and mobile web sites/apps.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of web designers and front-end developers to design, build,
deploy and maintain ecommerce websites, web applications and Facebook apps and
mobile websites
- Act as a resource at developing, analyzing and interpreting complex system
requirements or web-based applications
- Perform troubleshooting and programming analysis of system issues, including
identification and resolution of security related events
Job Requirements:
- 8+ years of industry experience in full cycle web site and web application
development
- Minimum of 6+ years of architecture experience developing B2B/B2C ecommerce web
sites, web applications, Facebook apps and mobile websites
- Recent industry experience in a fast paced environment with short project
deadlines (e.g. startup, service, marketing environment)
- Significant hands-on production programming and development experience with
Coldfusion (expert level)
- Hands-on experience with other programming languages. Recent experience with
PHP a Plus
- Strong DHTML, CSS, XHTML, XML, MySQL, MS SQL skills and comfortable with Java
- Experience with object oriented and procedural programming methodologies and
frameworks
- Understanding best practice and full software development life cycle
- Familiarity with browser compatibility issues and fixes
- Knowledge of source control such as Subversion
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to tightly manage time and project
responsibilities and able to work on multiple projects at one time
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive working in a fast development team and working
both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Candidates must have current work authorization in the US
- BS in Comp Science or equivalent
Compensation based on skills and experience
