Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, Flex, Salt Lake City, Full time

I'm hiring for a position on our analytics team. Here's the details:
This position is a senior position in Human Resources Technology and Analytics
department, on the Human Capital Analytics team at Intermountain Healthcare in
Utah.
Primarily responsible for the design, conducting, and delivering of human
resource-related business intelligence to HR staff, company executives, and
managers. The position performs ad hoc analysis, develops reusable reports
(Cognos), and produces custom web-based analytical solutions using Adobe Flex.
This is a great opportunity to join one of the most well-respected and advanced
Human Capital Analytics teams in the country. The team's work is regularly
featured in national conferences and broadcast in webinars.
This is a business professional position with strong analytical and technical
skills working within the business side of Human Resources.
Secondary responsibilities include technical support for team's custom web
solutions (succession planning, performance management, and various smaller
applications) including maintenance and enhancement development. Also occasional
business analyst support for the great HR Technology and Analytics team on
various projects as needed.
Strong SQL skills are required. These include experience working with large
databases and data sets, is expected to provide advanced SQL skills, work with
data warehouse schemas and data cubes - so experience with both is strongly
preferred.
Required technical skills include Adobe Flex for the creation of advanced
analytical applications. Experience with back end development in Cold Fusion or
Java required. Certification in either Java or Cold Fusion strongly preferred.
The position requires the ability to analyze business problems and both recommend
and deliver data-driven analytical solutions to business challenges. Bachelors
required, Masters preferred.
