The error means that your SWF has a hard coded URL for the remoteJeffry Houser 05/10/10 10:08 A OK - got through that error. Now the site 'works' - but is incredibly slow especially in comparison to running off my local PC. When the site was using HTTPService it was performing better, in fact. Any ideas what I should be looking for that may be slowing the database calls down?Kim Hoopingarner 05/11/10 07:11 P Has anyone worked with Godaddy (or other hosted sites) using weborb remoting with their flex app? I have all config files (I think) correct - pointing to my domain. But when I run the app I get an error that show localhost as the domain path. I've searched everything - can't figure out why it keeps going to localhost. Actual err: faultDetail:'Channel.Security.Error error Error #2048: Security sandbox violation: http://prokitchen-demo.info/Pro_Kitchen.swf cannot load data from http://localhost/weborb/weborb.php. url: 'http://localhost/weborb/weborb.php'' Ideas? The error means that your SWF has a hard coded URL for the remote gateway. It would be highly unusual to have the remote server access your local machine in this manner. First, does WebORB support GoDaddy? Is WebORB installed on your GoDaddy server? Assuming yes, make sure that the services-config file you are compiling into your app does not use a hard coded remoting URL. Any ideas what I should be looking for that may be slowing the database calls down? Thanks for your help - I've appreciated the feedback! Can't believe what I found I had done that slowed the performance - I had it connecting to the database 2 times each call. Of course that slows it down! I must have been enjoying my wine at that point. LOL Thanks for the help though!
