I don't know if there is PHP support for talking to either, but if so, that would work. > > I have a php script that is running every 5 seconds to update a database value.  What I would like to do without a timer is in the flex client receive an event trigger for each time the php script finishes.   Is this possible to have the client listen for a php script result when it didn't initiate the script originally?
