I know we don¹t have the library ready yet (or even really started yet) for trading apps... However, does anyone have a good FB3 shopping cart app that would work in CF5 and SQL server 2k, and that could easily tie into our own Product Catalog app? I have some cool stuff for a trade. Might even buy it from you for cash. -Drew Harris

Don't know exactly what you're looking for, but I wrote www.crazyape.com - it's FB, CF5 and SQL2000 and integrates into an accounting server back-end.  CC processing on it is down right now, but that's b/c of our cc provider's tech issues. Cool, is the cart and checkout separate from the product catalog? -Drew On 4/23/03 3:33 PM, "Roger Dahlstrom" <rdahlstrom@dom-sec.com> wrote: > Don't know exactly what you're looking for, but I wrote www.crazyape.com - > it's FB, CF5 and SQL2000 and integrates into an accounting server back-end. > CC processing on it is down right now, but that's b/c of our cc provider's > tech issues.

Well, in theory it could be - it is FB3, so just about anything could be technically taken out of it.  It would be relatively simple to put your own product catalog in it I suppose - It would take a bit of customization, but it should work.  Just send the cart what it's looking for - sku, quantity, price, whether or not it's an auction (was designed to integrate with ebay), and let it look up the product descriptions as needed, and it would work fine. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- www.crazyape.com - > > it's FB, CF5 and SQL2000 and integrates into an accounting server back-end. > > CC processing on it is down right now, but that's b/c of our cc provider's > > tech issues.

Sure is lots of random stuff on that site, you could probably find anything you could ever want there! Gotta love the random Speaking of integrating with accounting software, any tips or tricks or recommendations or resources you could point me in. What type of Acct Software did you use? Just a little curious, will probably have to do something very similar very soon. cheers Greg Hamm Partner Coreillia Development greg@coreillia.com http://www.coreillia.com Don't know exactly what you're looking for, but I wrote www.crazyape.com - it's FB, CF5 and SQL2000 and integrates into an accounting server back-end.  CC processing on it is down right now, but that's b/c of our cc provider's tech issues. Yeah, I don't manage the inventory - that just gets imported from their accounting server.  It's SBT accounting btw.  My advice for you is that unless they have an SQL based accounting package, run far, run fast, or begin searching for something sharp to gouge your eyes out with.  That was by far the biggest pain to accomplish of anything on that site.  If I had to do it again, I would say that the amount of money for the accounting integration would be equal to or greater than the amount of money for the entire rest of the site.
