Datasource ViewExcellent. Need anyone to test it for you? Andrew. This weekend at the Fusebox conference Matt and I showed a database explorer that's currently in development for a beta of He3. You'd have to set the datasource up twice (once in CF, once in He3) but you'd be able to see all those things you listed. -- Howard Fore, howard.fore@gmail.com Wounderful. How nice it is to share. Andrew. Andrew, We have talked with Macromedia about it and they have stated that the RDS spec is a piece of IP that they are not willing to share and to emphasize the point they took care to remind us that it was protected by the DCMA. There will be no RDS functionality in He3 or any other non-Macromedia tool. rish > No, I refering to the RDS datasource viewing that lets you > see the databases, table and fields and drag and drop the > field name and stuff into your code. > > Andrew. > > > Andrew, > > I presume that you are referring to database functionality > specifically related to the datasources configured in the > ColdFusion Administrator as opposed to generic database tools, yes? > We are investigating both but we'll likely have functional > generic database tools first. > > rish > > > > > Are there any plans to add a datasource view (like CF > Studio / > Homesite) to He3 as this is a very useful feature. > > > > Thanks > > > > Andrew. > > > > |
