Hi Dave, Not sure if this is the right forum for chatting about cfeclipse stuff, but since you asked... The latest release doesn't have any direct support for editing the Mach-II config file beyond the simple text editor, but we do have something in the works. I would expect that our next release of cfeclipse will have something fairly useful. Spike. p.s. You might want to look at subscribing to the cfeclipse users list for stuff like this. http://cfeclipse.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList Dave Lampton wrote: > Hi all, > > My background is a mix of ColdFusion (CFStudio/DWMX) and Java (Eclipse), so I am pretty jazzed about Mach-II and plan to use it for all but the simplest web apps going forward. > > I've been using He3 a bit so far, mainly because it seems to have more facilities specific to developing Mach-II apps.  I really like its interface for editing the mach-ii.xml file (even though editing the file manually is no big deal), but beyond that the current version doesn't seem all that compelling... nonetheless, I eagerly wait to see its next incarnation. > > Just today I finally checked-out CFEclipse.  Hey, now we're talking!!  It does all the things I was hoping He3 would do, and then some... well, except for that cool mach-ii.xml editing thing.  Unless, I just have yet to uncover the Mach-II-specific features in CFEclipse??? > > Just wondering if anyone out there uses CFEclipse to develop their Mach-II apps, and if so, maybe they can share some tips on developing Mach-II apps with it.  Also wondering if anyone can share their ideas on the respective merits of He3 vs. CFEclipse specifically in respect to the development of Mach-II apps. > > thanks, > Dave > >
