Replace @

I'm going to institute a new piece of list code. This will take every message and alter it in a minor, but important way. Any @ that is NOT within a tag (i.e. is an email address but not in example code) will be replaced by one of a number of alternates. These will be totally obvious to humans, but not easily tracked by programs. For example, mdinowit@houseoffusion.com may be replaces with mdinowit -@- houseoffusion.com mdinowit ~@~ houseoffusion.com mdinowit '@' houseoffusion.com mdinowit "@" houseoffusion.com mdinowit [@] houseoffusion.com mdinowit (@) houseoffusion.com mdinowit {@} houseoffusion.com The @ may be replaced with the word "at" or a phrase like "place @ here" or "place at here". Bottom line is to prohibit spammers from being able to retrieve a persons email address if it has been purposely or inadvertently placed on a list. No, this is not foolproof, but for someone to write code to read the address will be a massive pain.
