You might want to look at this posting by Simeon Bateman: http://www.simb.net/client/index.cfm/2006/4/21/Java-5-Update-for-OSX its not an issue of intel mac but of the Java version. I tend to start it using a script in my home folder that runs the   following command: /Applications/JRun4/lib/java -jar jrun.jar -start default The script for starting it normally doesnt seem to do the trick HTH On 2 Jun 2006, at 13:25, Rich Tretola wrote: > Anyone have any docs on how to get JRun running on an Intel mac? > > "Could not create the java virtual machine."  is the error on startup. > > Rich

Reverting to java 1.4.2 fixed the issue.  I wonder why updater 6 did not fix the issues with Java 1.5 on an intel mac.  It allows JRun to work on a non intel mac under Java 1.5. Rich ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----
