I'm no expert on this, but aren't the nodes just children of the particular
node you are on? So in your loop, can't you use . notation to get at the
children, something like:

node.cake
node.cake.filling

etc...?

or 5 using ODBC? Or the Enterprise drivers those had? Or CFMX 6 or 7's JDBC
drivers? Against what database? And if on CFMX, note that a problem may have

Addressing your ADO and session comments.
I work on a top 10 Internet site (multiple Gpbs)..that converted from CF.

I assure you that ADO is much faster and the session management is extremely
robust.
