Large Gov't Integrator Looking for NET Developer in DC

I am seeking a .NET Developer for a 6 month contract to hire position located in
the DC metro area. Main skill set is ASP.NET with VB on the back. Please see full

TITLE: Mid level .NET Developer
LOCATION: Washington, DC
DURATION: 6 month contract-for-hire
CLEARANCE: Secret clearance
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2 years Visual Studio .NET
2 years ASP .NET
2 years Visual Basic .NET
2 years Oracle or SQL Server 2000, including use of stored procedures
Experience in all phases of system development life cycle
HTML
DESIRED SKILLS:
Cold Fusion
JAVA Scripting
MS Back Office
Oracle DB
MS Internet Explorer 6.0
Understanding of TCP/IP addressing
Bachelor’s degree
DESCRIPTION:
This project deals with migrating from a Cold Fusion platform to .NET.
Candidates to be considered for this position will be focused on the .NET piece,
although knowledge of Cold Fusion would be beneficial. The candidate should also
be very comfortable working at the customer facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under minimal supervision, provide web support and development for the Department
of State customer. Individual must have a working knowledge of Visual Studio
.NET, ASP .NET, Visual Basic .NET, SQL Server 2003, Oracle DB including use of
stored procedures, all phases of system development life cycle, HTML, JAVA
Scripting, MS Back Office, MS Internet Explorer 6.0 and an understanding of
TCP/IP addressing. Individual should be familiar with metrics capturing and SLAs.
Individual must be able to present their project and ideas to management in an
articulate and knowledgeable manner. Individual must also be able to keep the
customer and management informed of new technologies that may facilitate the
development of a "better" product. Individual must be comfortable supporting
products and decisions, with management and the customer, verbally, in writing,
or in a presentation forum.
