How to convert a dynamic ColdFusion 5 file to an XML document?

I'm new to XML and I need to create an XML file from the results of a
dynamic .cfm page using ColdFusion 5. I've managed to create the "look" of
an xml page with ColdFusion and I can copy the results from a web browser
and paste into a HTML document and it works. I'm not sure what the easiest
or best way is to get the results into an XML document the client can read?
