Sarah Binah Dinowitz

As you may have known, Judith was recently pregnant. This condition has come to a blessed end with the birth of our daughter, Sarah Binah. She was born at 6:33pm on Friday the 13th, which was also the 25th of the Hebrew month of Nisan and the 10th day of the Omer. After about an hour of build up labor and an hour of 'real' labor, she came out with 2 contractions and three pushes. This is important as she was 9 pounds, 4.5 ounces and 22.5 inches long. Not a small baby at all, but Judith pulled through it like a trooper.

The name was given for both my grandmother Sarah Nesha and for my uncle Benny (Binyamin), whose death had more of an effect on me than one would think. His name was altered to Binah which is also the Hebrew word for understanding. As she has an unconscious liking for 80's music, especially metal, she will need that. :)
